The Ladies of SilverWind, continued
Roy's Toy Snippet's Delight
We are quite pleased to say we have a Bond Snippet daughter in our herd! Her dam is Bond Heart's Delight II, a daughter of Bond Commander. Delight is 12 this year, and has given us 3 foals, SilverWind Blazin Sun, who is a missionary horse in Taiwan with M.U.P. couple Mark and Laura Heffner, SilverWind Stormcloud who is in a driving home in OH, and a loud b/w full sister that we unfortunately lost. She is vet checked in foal for 09 to Jangles.
Oak Forest Macho's Topaz (A/R)
Topaz is our treasured addition for 2008! We have wanted this mare since '99. Topaz is our Winks Prayer daughter! A beautiful creamy golden palomino, she and Luv are near duplicates in different colors. No wonder, really, as Topaz's sire is the great JJ's Little Macho, son of Choco's Little Specks Red Boy. Prayer and Rhema are 3/4 siblings. This little treasure is 21 this year & vet checked in foal to LotsaFun Daytona's HotRod, a top ten stallion who's papers read like a who's who...Flaby's Wonderman, Chocolatico multiple times, Jandt's, Vant Huttenest, Boone's Little Andy. We eagerly anticipate this foal! She will be given to Jangles after she foals.
DD Pretty Girl II
We were very happy to add this line bred daughter of Winks Jingles to our herd! Pretty is by Jingles, & out of his daughter DD Pretty Girl, and is a palomino splash overo pinto. She is a nervous and shy mare, but is slowly coming around with treats and perserverance. She has been bred by Jangles for 2009.
SilverWind Song of the Redeemed
"Melody" is one of our Jr mares-in-waiting. She is out of Redeemed, and by Storm. A rich and lovely bay pinto, she is maturing beautifully, and we look forward to adding her to the broodmare band in 2009. She will be given Kernel.
SilverWind Blue Sonata
Sonata is another Jr mare, half sister of Melody being by the same stallion. Her dam is a 3x (62.5% blood) Blue Boy mare, FWF Blue Serenade. This beautiful little gem will be long treasured here!
